Passion.

I've mentioned before that the Sprinteur ranks lowly in my list of personal favorites, the genres of Grimpeur, Baroudeur and Rouleur all held in higher regard. This however is a great compilation of someone who, personal feelings aside, deserves some respect. And while we're on the subject of genres, how an article entitled Baroudeur could fail to mention Vino is beyond my belief.

More accustomed to sunnier climes my aforementioned Italian friend not only accompanied me on a non too summery sunday morning ride but also did me the honor of taking this photograph with his modern apple phone.

Post.

I had the pleasure of photographing and chatting to the illustrious author of thewashingmachinepost last week at the Nocturne. Not only was he bedecked in apparel fitting the occasion and appropriate to his journey from Islay, but he was also a very friendly, approachable and humble gentleman. If i'm ever able to banish the childhood holiday memory of a horse called Mortimer trampling on my dad, i must make it back to Islay one day to partake in the award winning ride of the falling rain, mmm or maybe the gourmet bike ride would be more to my liking.

But personally.

Tried a little experiment with my earlier post in using direct wording to see how it related to google search placing and it actually worked until various more established persons dragged thier arses out of bed, will have to be more on the ball next time. I went along last night purely for leisure purposes but you can't take the country out of the boy and i managed to get a couple of great portraits, more of which later. Enjoyable night but it seemed to lack something that last year had, amazing display of power on the hill by the pro's on the last few laps and not a bad evening for The Bicycle Works gents either. I wonder if Mr Croall will be riding his new bike on tuesday night.
